Rain sewer mainenance

In this piece I wanted to depict an alien planet with quite a distinctive flora but with the same needs as ours. This particular site is a local highway with a rain collector system. The water runs into the grooves which capture it like sewer grating - and then conudct it into the nearby reservoirs which accumulate it. When needed they give away the liquid they store to the plants that really need it. (Why not transfer this idea onto our terrain agricultural system? ) Of course any system needs maintenance. So the guy in front actually does the service works - cleans the collector holes from garbage.

В этой работе хотелось изобразить чужую планету ,но  со знакомыми нам проблемами. В этом случае  - это ливневая канализация. Воронки в дороге перехватывают дождевую воду и она хранится в стоящих рядом резервуарах, а когда нужно - они отдают ее растениям вокруг.(неплохо бы такое и у нас придумать :) ). Как и любая ливневка - эта требует обслуживания. Вот персонал и чистит "дождеприемные решетки" от мусора.
